A deposit for a house means you have to save for 10 years, then you can only get a mortgage for a "starter" home if 2 of you earn 2x the national average. For 30 years you will have to pay the jew, just for a deanobox shit house with no drive, tiny garden and crammed in with all the other new builds. It's literally an unobtainable thing because once you have kids either she doesn't work to look after them or you pay £1500 a month for child care meaning you can no longer afford to have a house AND children, then if you rent you can't afford to save for the deposit because rent is 2x the mortgage.
