got into an argument with my mother because she's retiring end of year at 62. she has a 30yr fixed mortgage in a condo, wants me to take over it. i serioisly thought about it, as the mortgage+insurance was just $1200. then she said "oh btw there's a $1200 condo maintenance fee" bringing the monthly payment to about $2400 for a 1BR. that's way above what im currently renting at and would serioisly unbalance my bduget and finance. she just said do it, i'll help you anon, things will work itself out.
