Is this forced capitulation?
I was thinking that big miners are intentionally operating at a loss to put smaller moners with worse margins out of business. Tank the hash rate, then before difficulty adjusts in some days dump more btc to put more miners out and make it so only the top miners with the new asics who can operate at anything close to break even.

Then they gain more hash percentages and control market forever.

Will people see it as a safe have. Like metals is the question?
Already this year we have seen Turkey, and even Iran flock to it in a crisis. It hot $35,000 in Iran last month.

If we do see another financial crisis(assuming legislation and banks cant keep this going forever) then what will it mean for btc? It has a lot more awareness and ease of purchase these days.

Could it handle more people using the network? Will it be more liquid than gold despite a clogged mempool?

Theory time biz. Why exactly does byc always dip on a sunday? Its rare it doesnt. Ive seen it pump 3 times in a year. I believe its a symptom of the low liquidity in the market in general. Fiat is difficult to get onto exchanges on a weekend. Perhaps other favtors contribute. Generally we see a monday pump if sunday doesnt dip too hard which suggests that it is extremely related to liquidity.

Thoughts?

I usually sell on a saturday but i thought this one was different for some stupid reason. Was clear the bulls ran out of steam trying to break 11550 and needed to refuel before another attempt.

>he still hasn’t liquidated alts to btc
>unironnically holding alts outside top 10
>believes they will moon

Btc is about to go bull. You newfags will learn to respect the king one way or another. The end gosl is to increase our SATs with alt moon missions. You dont have long to exit. I might say its already too late. I’ll be picking up cheap alts soon.

Srs question biz. Is there any point in holding alts when bitcoin is volatile?

Im talking about holding 10 plus btc. In a 1k swing thats a nice earning with such leverage potential.

I have a lot of alts but ive realised that in the past few weeks there has been only a couple times i coulda made a good trade with these bleeding bastards compared to btc.

Forbes says:

"Already, there has been talk that Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts are considering accepting Bitcoins for their products.

While all this talk sounds like pie in the sky, the likelihood for one of these companies to adopt a cryptocurrency is very appealing, for an obvious reason: it will create a great deal of buzz among younger customers."

>outdated
>transaction fees
>no scalability

It had all these exact same issues in 2017 when it mooned to $17000 so that's not the reason. People don't buy Bitcoin for its usability anyway they buy it for the brand.
I think it has little if anything to do with South Korea or India either, maybe if it was a 10% dip that you could argue that. The worst part is that it's showing absolutely no signs of recovery. Coins like NEO or ETH will still grow but shitcoin moon missions will be a thing of the past unless bitcoin sorts itself out.

Hello /biz/, I'm a poorfag who wants to get into crypto trading but I have no clue what to do. I've tried creating a coinbase account because thats what everyone I've talked to said to use, but it just wont work because I keep getting hit with website errors and shit.

If anyone here can help an inexperienced faggot out with what exchange to use to buy crypto with USD that would be terrific, because everyone I've tried won't let me verify or just flat out won't work...

So what are your bets? Will bitcoin start rising rapidly? will it keep hovering around 11200 or will it dive back down again?
