I've been selling ITM covered calls on stocks with above average IV for the past few months. If a stock drops way below the strike price by the time the options expire worthless, I just average down and then sell more covered calls and collect more premium until the cost basis reaches even or makes a profit.

So far this has been working great. How come more people don't do this?
