I need help with my credit cards, and how things work for credit card offers. I have 10 credit cards, and about $50,000 in total available credit on them. Most of my credit cards, the 0% APR offers on them have expired, and I really don't want to use them. But I'm worried about leaving those accounts open and if they're lowering the credit that banks offer me because I already have so much available credit. But if I start closing accounts, I'm worried about if my credit score would start to tank. Most of the cards I'd prefer to close are my oldest ones.

My brother makes 3x more money than me. He makes like 150k a year, and lives paycheck to paycheck. He wants to borrow money from me all the time as well.
