The toning was done by dipping the heated piece in liver of sulfur solution and then polishing the high areas with a rotary tool carefully avoiding the valleys. I started out sand casting and then moved into a more professional setup using a 3d printer, proper kiln, and jeweler grade investment (plaster). Look up lost resin casting on YT if you're interested.

It's hard to compete with mass produced Chinese shit. It's somewhat expensive to make these when factoring in resin, investment, kWh kiln time, and labor time. I've sold a few though.
