Anybody else out there come to think the true purpose of Chainlink is to harvest your life energy? I unironically believe that Chainlink was made to stop me from living my life to its fullest, or reaching my true potential. The amount of time, energy, and money I've put into this thing just to watch year after year get flushed away is absurd. The best years of my life, when I should have been buying a house, starting a family, enjoying my time, have just been spent working, researching, and throwing everything into this bottomless pit in the hopes it would give me everything later on.

But it's not going to, it's going to keep being an empty promise of "next year, next year", without ever bearing any real fruit. All the time and energy I've invested into this thing would've gotten me so much further if I'd done almost anything else. Stock market, real estate, fucking used cars have appreciated more than link.over the last 4 years. Yeah, we had one moment in the sun in summer of 2019. But I've come to think that was just for the purpose of getting us hooked and instilling the belief that it was actually going to happen.

I even went through a bunch of their stupid coding camps and participated in the hackathons. But for what? It's going to be 2030 by the time ccip is out and actually functional on the level of ethereum and smartcontracts, and by then basic things like a home are going to be so unattainable it'll cost 10k link just to have what was middle class in 2019, plus the 10 years it took just to get there. It would have been better to never discover this shit and live a normie life. Chainlink is a curse on anyone who gets involved with it.\
