Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who cares about my stack being worth more dollars, not less
>muh cheapies
I'm really not sitting on much extra money these days what with massive salary freezes and cost of food/fuel/living inflation. I can't even buy the dips anymore.
Serious question since gold is poking at 2k again, and it last did that a few years ago - that doesn't even take inflation into account, right? As in, $2000 USD from 2020 is "$2300" today (if you go by faggoty CPI numbers, actual dollar devaluation probably more like $2600+). So the paper price isn't ACTUALLY testing meaningful valuation points if you consider inflation. PMs going sideways since covid means that our stacks have actually been devaluing in dollars, considerably. I don't WANT to sell my stack for worthless paper, but the concern remains. Like, I'm not holding out for being able to trade a tube of silver for 20 acres after le apocalypse, that's not why anyone should ever get into this.
