it's fraud from the short sellers, not Gamestop itself. That's also going to piss off all of pic related

to add to this anon's point

a lot of these holders have been bagholding since $20 or something, why would they be satisfied "profit taking" at $10

who knows what the fuck happened.

I think some algos used rising short interest as a sign that shit was going bankrupt and kept shorting gamestop even after they did massive buybacks. An algo can't recognize the cyclical nature of gamestop as well, that their revenues will suddenly start growing again or at least stop declining, cashburn will be gone, etc. Suddenly their 6 billion revenue annually looks more confident.

~45 million shares short which practically the entire float can't be because of retard retail or human at all. Who the fuck would short the entire float when the top 12 holders looked like this a month ago?

it's worse than that, pic related is a bit outdated but you get the idea.
Volume is high because shorts are covering but more people are shorting the stock, on top of the usual daily liquidity (daily average 5 million)

I don't have access to the subscriptions shit like S3 so I'm just stuck using the bottom as a surrogate on the shorts.

That said, ~100% short of float isn't unusual, basic idea being that a short seller sells to someone who then lends it out to another short seller, which is how you get >100% institution ownership which doesn't make sense. It's happening on DDS as well, but the difference is GME is net cash positive instead of massively in debt like DDS or Burry's other undervalued pick BBBY. DDS still on my watchlist though just in case.

that's why I only put a portion, the rest I'm still relying on alerts on price and volume.
I mean if somehow all the shorts buy in at literally the same time, the algos literally do not have enough shares to meet the demand.

Obviously I know I'm way too fucking delusional and greedy, but weirder things have happened.

do you realize who is holding GME as well?
It's definitely jew vs jew but at least I'm on the side WITHOUT unlimited downside potential.
some hedge funds about to get fucked if this goes the right way

you're forgetting that >100% short interest is crazier when you look at the top holders for GME right now which can't buy/sell without some restrictions.
when are you ever going to see another gamble like this?
Who gives a shit about -30% downside when the upside potential here is crazy. Non-zero chance of a short squeeze is crazy on a company not going bankrupt (anymore)

read the fucking DD, you woudln't be worrying about pennies if you did.

I've been increasing my GME position since Monday opening, i didn't give a shit when I bought at the top on Wednesday since the math all fucking works out.
Your worst case scenario right now is maybe -30% downside tomorrow which i doubt since really even Gamestop would just announce more share buybacks if earnings were really that bad that it would tank stock prices. More likely earnings are mediocre but guidance is maybe good and some announcement on Cohen hopefully.

You think I'm worrying right now being 100% GME?
