If you want a good alt maybe check out AGRS. It's market cap is only 3 million and a legit AI coin, around almost as long as me. They started working on it in 2015. This can also be seen from their Bitcointalk posts. They are actually in it for the tech.

Also, AGRS has been trading for 8 years or so so it's not a rug pull.

The team's focus has always been on the tech itself, which amongst other things, involved inventing the first programming language that can reason about itself, within and outside the crypto sphere. This allows for a blockchain that seamlessly updates itself in real time based on the real-time consensus specification of users.

If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have more time to try to convince you, sorry.

Oldfag here. Been shilling Bitcoin on 4chan since 2012, yet everyone laughed at me and called it a scam, same with eth in 2014 and link in 2017. Now suddenly all the nocoiners come flooding in here acting like they know shit even though they spent the last decade fudding crypto. The fact this board rejected Dogecoin in January, a coin that 4chan embraced in 2013 is very telling how many newfags we have on here. So if your project is getting fudded, don't feel bad. Most people on here are retards with micro folios that wouldn't know what constitutes success if it hit them in the face. 7-8 figure anons don't have time or energy to be negative all the time or call anyone pajeets, were too busy searching for the next big thing and enjoying everything life has to offer. Cheers.

XMR has better tech and is more true to the OG crypto ideals while LTC has a stronger network effect and is more established while having very plain vanilla tech (even when including Mimble Wimble).

This evens things out and makes it hard to say which coins will dominate at the end.
LTC is silver to Bitcoin's gold
XMR is literally Bitcoin to whatever the fuck BTC is these days.

Bitcoin gave us decentralized digital money, and that in itself was a miracle. But Monero gives us truly private and anonymous decentralized digital money. It's difficult to overstate how big of a deal that is.

/biz/ was created in 2014 to contain Bitcoin and Dogecoin threads from other boards. We were just teenagers and young adults using their chump change to gamble on shitcoins with zero use case, 'making it' meant accumulating a few grand or BTC. In 2015 nobody talked about crypto, 2016 saw a complete rebirth and 2017 was a batshit crazy

>I used to get off on that shit tot he point it deluded me that I was a stone throw away from $1Million, of course, you know the rest and it took me months to fix my ego and grieve over my delusional thoughts.
>Hearing your story and wisdom would help a lot of anons especially in terms of getting ready for the next alt run whenever it comes if it comes.

Not sure how much wisdom there really is.
You got to work on becoming the right person at the right time. Since you can not influence time you can only become the right person. There will be plenty of great opportunities throughout our life and when you sufficiently verified that the right time is there, you have got to take a big swing and significant risk. This is not the time to read a book on the theory of diversification. The wealthier and older you are the lower that risk can be, so its better and easier to take these giant risks when one is young.

I was into business and finance probably since is was 16, traded precious metals, was in the military for 2 years, studied business administration and IT. Wrote my own trading systems (did not apply them in crypto, also I'm a weak coder), got scammed out of 1/3 of my early money, was the r9k kind of guy with few friends, studied a lot about monetary systems, philosophy, non-linear systems and chaos etc etc. Psychodelics are worth a try. Get a girlfriend before you get rich. Have a plan in case you fail.
