My entire life (millennial) people have been saying houses are overvalued, we’re in a bubble, etc

Is this just massive cope from people who can’t afford a house?

I just got engaged and I’ve dreamt of having a house me and my wife can run our business from and raise a family in for years now. I’ve saved up like a good goy, but it’s still so fucking expensive on top of all the maintenance costs. I’m ready to just accept this is the cost because all of the doomsayers predictions have yet to align with reality
