My friend is playing Halo Master Chief Collection and getting all nostalgic for his childhood favourite game series. I never played Halo because I always just had Nintendos. If I played Halo now as he encourages me to it would be as an adult revisiting childhood memories that never were - childhood experiences that I could of had, but didn't. That timeline is closed to be now.
I used to wrap myself up in the comforting blanket of potential. That I was young and infinity lay before me.
Now I'm not so young.
