Then once you've figured it out, you need to start doing something to start working towards it. Your problem probably is that you're jumping around with goals and ideas because you're a creative type.

You need to pick something and stay on that goal, ie; finding a better job should be approached like this:

If you don't do that before searching and you just enter random job words and apply for random shit you'll get shit jobs. I could go on and on but basically this is essence of it.
