Kind of a gay situation to have to worry about at all, but I'm crypto retired (mid 7s) and want to move out of my current shithole apartment that I've been staying in longer than is sane considering my newfound net worth, and into a nicer apartment or like a small house with a yard that allows a dog or whatever. Not thinking of buying right now for a number of reasons. But anyways what the fuck do I tell a landlord about my source of income? If I just try to pretend I still have a 9-5 they all want pay stubs and references. if I tell them I'm fucking rich and flash them my brokerage statements to prove it then it's just an opsec risk. If I offer to pay a year's rent up front that's sketch as fuck too.

So how the fuck do you rent as a rich person without drawing suspicion and/or wrench attacks? Maybe I'm overthinking it.
