This has been a common tactic in traditional finance as well since stock trading started. Go short and then purposely spread misinformation to investors.

Much easier in crypto since there are literally no regulations.

I'm adding the Bulgarian one to my compilation. They have been increasingly sloppy lately which is probably partly due to simply and increase in frequency
