I am a 31 perma-NEET. I had good grades and went to college for a semester but dropped out and moved back in with my folks. They said they'd let me stay if I don't do drugs and help them out with chores around the house. My dad's been retired for 5 years and worked a fairly high level job at a software company and my mother saved quite a bit of money working as a chef in a restaurant she had. Both of them are almost 70 and getting close to kicking the bucket. Can I realistically live off the money they leave behind if I sell the house and move into a smaller apartment?
