Limitations:
Wallet sync. Ones wallet has to sync, meaning it has to download the blockchain from the last time it connected to the present. That can get data heavy depending on the last time the wallet synced. It is especially annoying when the user knows that they don't have incoming e-notes in such a sync.
10 block lock. One can't perform another send until the sent e-note has at least 10 blocks mined.
Wallet mirroring. If one desires to use different wallets, they can get out of sync. This can happen if one wallet sends monero, and no change is coming back. The other wallet won't see that due to the encryption.
It can take 10-15 seconds for the tx to hit the mempool.
The official GUI wallet itself is clunky. The project has a reputation to hard fork.
Everything except the 10 block lock is getting dealt with on Seraphis / Jamtis fork, which is 2-3 years away.
