No, you don't have to know that to make money selling cash secured puts. Pretentious nerds like you keep trying to overcomplicate it with long-winded BS "explanations" trying to debooonk what I use in real life to make higher returns than average. Someone could make money selling cash secured puts solely based on identifying likely bottoms on a daily candlestick chart, for example. No blah blah blah required.
Doing it my way is effectively like averaging into a dip, 100 shares here and there spread out carefully and eventually with a small pump you're out if it doesn't completely collapse. It's not the rocket science you're turning it into.
