No, she said they would DECRIMINALIZE it. Big difference. MJ is decriminalized in NYC, doesn't mean you can't get in trouble for it. And the fact that they mention decriminalization makes me think that it's not even a promise they plan to keep. Always expect a politician to only execute on their promises partially at best. If she said full legalization I'd expect decriminalization. This is literally coming from the woman who BUILT HER CAREER specifically targeting weed prosecutions; how can anyone take her word on this particular policy with an ounce of trust? Literally no reason for them to not just legalize it all together. By taking a half-assed measure they actually would be taking a step back since it'd put less pressure on politicians to discuss it again for a few years since they already gave it a "win." Decriminalization will not change anything really. You'd still get fired if your job found it on drug test, you'd still pay fines if a cop busts you with it, you still wouldn't be able to purchase it legally in most states, you still wouldn't be able to grow your own, all that it'd change is giving law enforcement a reason to be more lax on it but they've already been steadily getting more lax on MJ related busts anyway since the general public is becoming more open to it. Plus, with all the BLM stuff going on, you'd have to be crazy as an officer to try doing a drug bust for just some green plant, that's just asking for you to end up getting recorded by a bystander and having your life ruined for racism.

This is the same half-promise as Biden saying he will "eliminate student debt" as all the headlines keep parroting. But then you look at what he's proposing and it's literally just $10k worth of forgiveness. If he gets in office he'd probably only be able to get $5k at most and say "well I tried lmao!"

tl;dr - don't get fooled by political double-speak. Put your foot down and refuse to settle for less.

Comfy. Even if the markets hit the shitter, I feel so lucky to have this that it's hard to feel bad. If anything it'd make me further question the fucking boomer market when I literally woke up to a crypto stimulus check by surprise on the Zoomer market.

I know the economy has been a huge fucking bubble that's been propped up against toothpicks for like a decade now, that's why I have over 9k in gold and silver. We never fixed any of the shit from the '08 recession, we just put a fucking bandied on it and the fed kept pumping that bubble with hot air. The plan was to eventually stop when a full fix was actually put together and rolled out, but that never fucking happened.
