True for 99.997% of Americans aged 19 and under, 99.98% of Americans aged 20-49, 99.5% of Americans aged 50-69, and 94.6% of Americans aged over 70. The loss of a single life is tragic and I do feel terrible for everyone who loses a loved one for this or any reason, but I've seen firsthand what the lockdowns are doing to hundreds of millions of the poorest people around the world that don't live in luxurious enough countries to be able to afford a year-long slow down in the global economy without it putting their very survival at risk. I think governments were completely rational to start shutting things down in March when we didn't know a lot about this virus. Since then, we've learned a ton and case fatality rates are falling across Europe and the Americas, along with most of Asia and a good bit of Africa. At some point the cost of the shut downs is doing a lot more damage to a lot more people (via starvation, condemnation to lifelong poverty, drug overdose, suicide, and the worst: marriage) than the actual virus. I'm not getting the vaccine since I've already had it, probably wouldn't get it anyways since I'm not an at-risk demographic, but if it finally gets western elitists to stop shitting themselves at the expense of the lives of the poorest people in the world then I'm all for the vaccine.

>what is hyperbole?
Proportion of ICU patients being put on ventilators in the US, and most of Europe, has dropped substantially since May. An hero faggot

Nice, now factor in heart disease too and you're already at over half of the currently expected excess deaths. Now account for the fact that 94% of reported COVID deaths had fatal comorbidity factors and ask yourself why you still watch CNN
