Nazis always sell too soon, because you have short attention spans and believe the conspiracies you read on this site. You don’t know how to accumulate knowledge, so you spaz from one bad decision to the next. “Jews control the media! Bitcoin is going to $0 because unnamed Chinese folks are orchestrating prices to make me personally lose money! I wanna get punched!”

You’ve been left behind.

Get punched.

The history is fascinating. Torture was widespread in Europe only during very brief periods—the enlightenment era’s fart sniffing exaggerated the horrors or the past. Even the Spanish Inquisition involved a lot less torture than popular culture presents. Victims were given a trillion chances to avoid being tortured, up to and including a tour of the torture chamber.

Anyway, one thing you might find fascinating is how environments shape organisms. The places on earth that were not conducive to large scale civilization could not apply the evolutionary pressure necessary to produce hominids capable of it. It’s why birds don’t have gills and humans can’t survive in a vacuum.
