it's a fucking wasteland out there
besides my close family and a few select friends I can't hold a meaningful conversation
which is why I come here to commiserate

it takes a couple tries until you learn that lesson
I've been through some very dark and despondent times, particularly after breaking it off with my ex fiance and she came after my money and ended up scalping me for $30k in 2017
that was a hard lesson, but I'm glad it happened to me
it's made me who I am today and that's a great thing
