See, you're making the mistake that the current price of GME reflects ALL the shares of GME, it doesn't. There are a few tens of thousand shares being traded back and forth. THOSE shares are trading <$200, but that doesn't mean YOUR GME is worth the same. I'll go deeper.
When a hedgie buys and sells in a ladder attack, the price they get is competing against all other offers. Literally no one else is competing in that market because no one else wants to participate.
But the squeeze still exists, you're waiting to compete in the frenzy to cover their shorts. Not just a few shorts, but 100%+ of the float.
