if you have some saved money that you're not touching, buy into several safe stocks (meaning companies that have been around for at least 25 years and haven't lowered dividends for the whole time, those are called "dividend aristocrats").

i started with stocks a year ago and have realized that it's so easy to get free money... had i started when i was 26 i would be up several 100k by now.

the stock market is currently taking a shit, wait until the corona and oil hysteria dies down before you buy in (when there's reports of a cure on tv or when the governments lifts travel restrictions/quarantines all around the world you know it's time).
