shitcoin dev here. got a coin I forked from Litecoin in 2014 - Doriancoin. Never really shilled it or anything, I just wanted to learn blockchain dev stuff. With the boredom/depression of this bear market I've finally started messing with it again.
I just rebased the code to an up-to-date Litecoin codebase and got it synced to my blockchain. Learned how segwit works and all that, I am waiting on more blocks to be mined for it to fully activate.
Ultimately I want to update to a new proof-of-work algo, and get lightning network/atomic swap shit working. I want to get it on barterdex to learn its atomic swap stuff.
Not here to shill you or anything.. I just wanted to share what I've been working on in my spare time in this clusterfuck of a crypto market. Keep your heads up and be productive, it helps.

So I made a shitcoin years ago. It was fairly-launched (no premine/ico) and being a proof-of-work blockchain launched in 2014, it is not a security.

I never really did much with it like shill it or pay its way onto an exchange, because of the bear market that happened after I launched it. probably a huge mistake, as every shitcoin pumped hard in 2017.

I want to do something with this during this bear market. I want to fork its PoW off scrypt, and maybe implement the ProgPoW algo so it remains asic-resistant. Maybe implement some kind of hybrid pos system, I dont know..

what would u do biz if u controlled a shitcoin that is basically a clean slate, no scammy ico drama etc. and being old from 2014 its not some new pajeet scam erc20 that are a dime a dozen.

Doriancoin is a shitcoin I made in 2014. It is a copypasta of Litecoin with horribly outdated code. But its a working blockchain. there's a shitty windows wallet, and a faucet. I've got millions of these fucking things. If you want some, fucking have at it. Maybe someday I can get it on a DEX or some shit on the cheap.
