It’s honestly ridiculous how much the government is trying to keep us poor. Every fiscal and monetary policy decision is made with the intention of keeping the rich rich and the working class poor.

Inflation disproportionately impacts the poor. Employers and governments refuse to give workers pay raises to match inflation, tax cuts are only for the rich, housing markets are propped up by immigration and government incentives to keep wagies priced out, massive corporations are hoarding land, corporations are making record profits by hiking prices more than inflation. It’s over.

There is no hope of escaping modern slavery unless you get lucky or are born into generational wealth.

>Just realised I will NEVER afford a house in my country.

It is literally impossible to envision being able to afford a $1.1-$1.3m house when I earn $70,000. Even when I reach 6 figs my borrowing capacity will be too low, and house prices will go up another 300-500K.
