So I decided to try the coffee can strategy.
>liquidated my whole portfolio
>put 30% of that in TLT
>10% in GLD
>the rest into the top of 45% VUG and top 15% of VOT
>deleted broker app off my phone
>gonna try to stop checking finance news and /smg/ daily

The plan is to set aside cash in a savings account each week to do it again in six months, to kind of DCA into two "cans" a year.
I wish I could do it more frequently but a surprising number of midcaps (and large caps like fucking Costco) are priced so fucking high you need 15k minimum to weigh them decently.
I'm trying to decide when I should cash out each can. Backtesting suggests 5-ish years, but I'm having a hard time finding historical snapshots of QQQ holdings.

Anyone here know of a way to look up fund holdings in a particular year? I know they have to publish them on a regular basis. Is there an archive?
