can anyone explain to me why the Link token is needed? ok so nerds ad investors are buying up link tokens because they think it will go to millions. right. there are only 1B tokens and sergey has 650million of them. now all the nerds buy up all the tokens and lets just say 1 LINK = $1k now. now an actual entity wants to USE LINK for their price feed. they need to buy LINK tokens to pay the network? but the nerds have bought up the price so high that it's basically unaffordable now. the entity wants to get the price of lets say bitcoin every 10 seconds. but it costs one link. so... basically because people that don't use the token bought it up early they make the prices too much for actual users. the entity decides to just go to a competator that does not have any token and pays that company directly in a contract. 1 month of feeds for 2000 dollars.


can anyone explain to me how LINK is going to be able to compete with any oracle project that doesn't have a token? cause I don't see how.
