How should I divide up $5k into gold and silver?
I already have just silver but I want to add more. I'm looking for ratios so please let me know what you believe is best. IF you also want to tell me what bullion and or coins to buy, provide reasons to back up your preference.

This is not just for SHTF it's also for regular long-term savings. I'm tired of watching cash savings disappear due to inflation.

Why not just buy at closer to spot on the stock market?

>no delivery/handling/administrative costs

I literally don't see the point of buying physical silver/gold at a higher price over spot when you can get it closer by buying in over the stock market?

Gold and silver are heavily manipulated by paper markets

Gold $ 10 000 and silver $ 100 is quite realistic and even moderate, remember for example Silver was $ 48 year 2011, and economy was then so much better shape, after that central banks have printed astromical amount of money that is bullish for gold and silver
