I read somewhere recently that Ethereum is supposed to finally become proof-of-stake next month, what's /biz/ take on that? Is it actually going to happen this time, or is it just more of the same "two more weeks" with regards to PoS that has been going on since last year? Is the price of ETH expected to go up, down, or crab once the jump to PoS finally happens?

People will call me a consoomer for saying this, but I'm surprised that no one has made a video game about this. A game with the social aspects of CK2, but you play it on a chart that shows your wealth instead of on a map, and you play as a woman who fucks men over to get more money for a higher score. People like playing games about making a number bigger, I don't see why it wouldn't work out.

So zoomers and millenials will just never gonna fucking make it? They will just live in the fucking basement forever or work below minimum wage delivering food? Is this the power of first world economic opportunity?
