They have sandniggers to do their dirty work there now. Add to that Isreal and new USA bases in Syria. I don't expect full blown conflict, but pressure is there. If keeping oil price up via conflict would become do or die for USA economy, then I doubt they will hesitate.
You should also consider why financial sector and banks went up so much recently. Answer is that banks are very heavily levereged on oil price. High price of oil is direct profit for turbokikes
