$600 rough budget outlay:
>$300 for 2 weekend passes to music festival.
>$50 for grill & propane
>$175 for ingredients including bread, cheese, butter, tomatoes and maybe some bacon
>$25 for soda & water
>$25 for fuel to get there
>$25 petty cash
...distribute the remaining $400 of your initial stake as you see fit (bring an extra worker, buy more ingredients, attend a larger & more expensive festival, etc).

>you may have to hide your operation, bribe security or get involved legitimately with the festival organization (which is usually pretty easy and only costs like a couple hundred bucks or so)

Now sell grilled cheese sandwiches at the music festival! You can sell them for $3 each or two for $5; upgrading with the addition of tomato or bacon cost an additional $1 each, soda costs $2, water costs $1. Under this price plan, two fully-upgraded sandwiches plus two sodas costs $13. Your average customer will spend about $5 (price of most cost-effective combo, price of one fully-upgraded sandwich, price of one partially upgraded sandwich plus water, price of one sandwich plus one soda). Figure you will need to serve about 1,400 to break $8k, but you should be shooting for 2,000+ customers. Assuming only 1,400 customers, you're looking at cooking about 3,000 grilled cheese sandwiches. It takes three minutes to make one, so that's 9,000 minutes, or 150 hours, or basically the entire goddamn music festival fuck how did I make money at this again? No worries -- you bought *two* (or more) tickets because you're bringing SLAVES (yes: the deal is this: they get to go to the music festival for free, but they each have to work for you on all but one day of the festival).

You can seriously make bank selling grilled cheese sandwiches at a music festival, especially when you make friends who give you profitable trades (like a gram of pure hash oil in exchange for two sandwiches -- enjoy or resell for more profits).

Just hustle, muh nigga.
