Alright you faggots I see a lot of newcoiners around so I am going to share with you a handful of rules to live by in the crypto space.

1. USD value is only ever important when buying in or cashing out. In between, when you are in the market, it is at most a gauge of your investments. Which brings us to:

a) portfolio BTC going up:
-Not much to say, indicates a good alt which is likely in its hype cycle/has had major news released/major development updates. Know when to get out

b) portfolio BTC going down, but USD more or less the same
-Likely good alt investments which are paying the price of the BTC rally. Hodl and weather the storm, but compensate for your initial investment or reduce your position if you can, but only at a small loss, so you're not tying your hands together

c) portfolio BTC going down, USD going down
-You're fucked. Best to hodl or sell off if early enough.

2) Alts will follow BTC growth, but only if it consolidates after a rally. That's your window of opportunity to close your alt longs and open reasonable new small positions.

3) When BTC corrects down, you're basically fucked whatever you do. At this point, holding portfolio in BTC is reasonable, as is DCAing on the way down in small increments or being in USDT, if early enough.
