even if ETH 2.0 works its still inferior to the already real numbers that Avalanche provides.
Sub Second finality for example, imagine Uniswap that is instant, ETH2.0 wont ever give you that instead it will have MINUTES for confirmation.
So it seems very likely that the "Athereum" Subnet on Avalanche will take the 2.0 spot, if that were to happen your Ethereum wouldnt lose its value, actually the opposite, your ETH would turn into ATH, literally.
Its called a Spoon (a friendly fork).

However AVAX has the higher overall potential because the AVAX nodes that achieve consensus for the Athereum Subnet get paid for doing that.
If you have an AVAX node you will get paid for validating AVAX and ATH. You get paid in the native token of the Subnet and in theory everything in crypto can be mirrored on Avalanche as a Subnet.
Imagine your AVAX node validates all of them. On top of that there is no slashing, no risk. As long as your node has 60% uptime you get paid (and this is very easy to achieve), you basically run software on a VPS for 12 bucks a month stake 2k AVAX and you get hundreds of thousands of dollars in return in all kinds of other tokens/Coins/NFTs.

Vitalik is also friends with Emin Gün Sirer and he already recognized that Avalanche is LEGIT and he knows its the perfect way out for him.
There is extreme Potential in AVAX and in ATH (formerly ETH) and the scenario I described is very real and is a realistic take on how things could play out.

>1.000 avax is a "make it" stack
Actually the make it stack is 2000 because thats the minimum amount needed to run a node and thats what you should be aiming for.

>Nodes give you passive income and are easy to run
>VPS are cheap (15 bucks a month)
>in the future Nodes will Validate other subnets making you even more money
>People can delegate to your node and increase your rewards
>you contribute to decentralization
