Why does it feel like msft is the only major tech company not to moon after the March low?

Can someone please explain to me what the driving force behind Apple's earning are? I have stayed away from investing them for 5 years due to lack of diversification in their products.
Other than the iPhone, iPad, and Macbook which are the same every year, what do they have?

Renting, all that needs to be worried about is the months rent and utilities (if any)
Buying, you have a mortgage, all utilities, taxes, insurance, etc. But you also have appreciation.
Assuming the economy shits the bed and housing prices go down, would buying then be worth it?
