I have $800k from last bull run, not quite make it money but pretty comfy. Would it be fucking stupid to just chuck it all in eth and earn 5% staking apy and forget about it for a decade? I've been using it to try swing trading the stock market and making shitcoin/nft plays with an eye to slowly dca'ing it into vtsax over the next 12 months so I can go passive, but honestly I suck at trading AND dcaing AND stock indexes don't give good enough returns to turn 800k into genny wealth.

I'd love to wait and catch triple digit eth but all the black swans seem to have sorted themselves out now and I'm falling for the argument that who cares if eth is 1000 or 1500 when it's going to 5000 in a few years anyways. Above all I just want to go back to comfy longholding like I did with LINK in '17-20. Give me arguments why I shouldn't do this or why I should at least wait for cheaper eth.
