is it normal to have a phobia of aging and time passing but not of death? I see death as peace, sweet release, i've looked down the barrel of my gun a few times and yearned for the void but something held me back. But god damn. The thought of being 70, or 60, or even 50 sucks. what a wretched, goddamned awful existence. I'd rather still be in the condition I was in at 25 and stay that way for 20 years before dying than spend 50 more years watching myself wither away and die as everything becomes slowly harder to do as you grow uglier and weaker by the year. The only reason I invest for the long term is because the cancer (literal and figurative) of being old as fuck would be made that much more hellish if I thought about still being broke in that condition and having to slave away like a teenager. How does everyone else feel? Finna turn 30 in 3 months and just feeling really shit about how I've only got 1 or 2 more decades if lucky left before the seemingly endless decline really accelerates and life becomes hell.
