probably selling way too soon, but my logic is that everyone bought hoping for the gap to ~$6.00-$6.20 to be filled; as we approach the gap, buying dries up, as everyone is thinking "I'll sell when the gap gets closed!" - so why would people buy more so close to the gap when the downside risk is large - people start taking profits, shorts add on, profit taking becomes panicked - pulls back
