Most of us have single-digit cost basis and some people already cashed out prematurely (it's still +100% since September), just don't average up anymore
Shorts ARE starting to cover now, which would explain the morning spikes and the big block buys the last week. It just won't be an infinite squeeze because these are institutional short sellers and they have collateral in the billions, they will just cover gradually (and will probably switch to a bull position at the same time)
