If wall street really is printing stock the same way the fed prints fiat paper (see: https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbets/comments/l97ykd/the_real_reason_wall_street_is_terrified_of_the/ ), just stop and think about the implications for crypto. People have had utmost faith in the stock market for half a century at this point, as the absolute gold standard of risk-adjusted, maximized investment return. If it really becomes apparent that shady wall street firms have just been printing extra stock as it suits them to pump (or short) asset prices as they see fit, then literally the entire NYSE becomes just another ponzi, infinite-supply scamcoin. The exact same thing that fiat has broadly been shown to be in the past year (it always has been since 1971, but people really woke up to it last year). People are deeply fucking sick of watching the fiat they hold and earn decrease in value because some central authority felt like printing more of it for free. Now imagine what happens if people realize their stocks are subject to the same process, and have been for decades.

Fixed-supply cryptos and PMs are going to go on the moon mission to end all moon missions this year. I don't even think defi and ETH and other utility tokens are going to be invited to the party. People are waking up to the realization that if you don't own it yourself, and if the framework for its supply and distribution isn't trustless and decentralized, that some greedy power players somewhere WILL eventually manipulate its price and supply to your detriment. Bitcoin and metals are both resistant to these processes.

Go 50/50 Bitcoin and PMs and you will be so wealthy by year end that you'll need a therapist to deal with your newfound Sudden Wealth Syndrome. It's now or never: GME was THE catalyst showing the emperor has no clothes and that most GME stocks are imaginary.

Uniswap, defi, yfi, yield farming, lp tokens, scammy airdrops, rugpulls, whatever... who else just doesn't care? I know there's money to be made but it's not worth my time or the stress involved. I have upper six figures net worth, I'm 50/50 in BTC and ETH, and just chilling.

I could expend all the time and effort to get into this shit and turn my $1000 into $10000 or whatever, but who cares? It doesn't even make a dent in my net worth and I'd have to waste hundreds of hours DMOR and monitoring charts so I don't get rugpulled, all while my hair turns gray and I get varicose veins on my ass.

Anyone else have so much money they can't even be bothered with this scammy flavor of the month shit?

All the panic, lockdown, lost economic activity is about keeping people isolated so the virus spreads slower so the curve can be flattened so that boomers don't overwhelm the intensive care wards so that the death rate for boomers can hang down around 0.5% instead of around 5% (worst case scenario with no medical treatment). Boomers are about 30% of the population, do the math and that's about 5 million crusty old fucks' lives on the line. The difference between the 0.5% and the 5% scenario.

As literally everyone follows the herd and orders more closures, shelter-in-place, and lockdowns, and as the economic cost draws on and starts totaling in the hundreds of billions of lost economic activity month-by-month, even the most bleeding-hearted are going to start wondering at some point: is it really worth the lost economic output just to save a few million boomers' lives?
