I work for a larger national bank. We had an emergency meeting fearing regulations increasing on banks coming soon. Offering highest rates on cds I've seen since I've been there starting next week strictly to generate cash reserve. Not sure if that's relevant to gme or not but I expect more banks will be reacting soon too.
