Anons, how do I actually get a job? I'm 18, and graduated from high school 8ish months ago, but I haven't really done anything with my life. I always had good grades, all my teachers really loved me (some even sent emails to my parents saying what a great student I was), and I genuinely enjoy working, no matter what it is. Occasionally my mom's boyfriend has some handyman work for me, so I'll do that, but that's neither reliable or very high in pay.
I really love technology/computer hardware, and I'm 1/2 way through studying for the comptia A+ cert, but I might want to apply somewhere before I finish that cert... Where can I apply without any sort of formal education? What should I put on my resume? What else do I need besides a resume?
I'm sure most companies would love to have me, the only issue is that I'm crippled with fear 24/7. I somehow managed to get a nice GF as a part time neet, and now I kind of feel bad that I don't have a good future lined up -_-

17 and got no form of ID aside from my birth certificate, and every exchange I've seen wants a driver's license or some shit. Any sites I've just missed, or am I just unable to do anything until I turn 18 and/or get some ID?

I've recently turned 18, and I want to make sure I'm as financially set for the future as possible. I was hoping ya'll could help me, because this is the best place I could think of for information such as this. Let me go over my situation, and see what ya'll think. I live in Houston, TX.

I've got moderate knowledge of how money works, and I'm a penny pincher. I have 3k USD in a savings account, 2k in cash, and a couple hundred bucks in crypto (primarily BTC and FTM).

I also have a very good understanding of computers, especially the hardware. I've been flipping computers on craigslist for a small profit, normally 1-2 times a week for around 100$ profit each. Although I'm great on the hardware side, I lack in programming knowledge. I'm fairly intelligent (120 IQ), and my grades in school are above average as well (3.7 GPA). I'm not planning on attending college, because it seems like a waste of 4 years, + 60,000$ debt. Instead, I plan on staying in my mother's house to save on rent, trading stocks/CC, until I can afford to get a few properties to rent out at a couple thousand a month.

Ideally, I want to be able to completely self sufficient by age 25, with a few rentals and stocks making up the majority of my income. Is any of this realistic with enough penny pinching, or do you have any other ideas/suggestions? My parents are a bit on the old side to understand the modern economy, so I was hoping you millenials of biz might be able to help.
