Yes but in fractional banking system you have now multiple lenders which increased cost of loan. Or if you have fixed rate loans then the asset class (real estate for example) will evaporate cause the price is simply a reflection if low interest

Rising rates is sucking money out of the system and many asset prices can simply evaporate.

In general that is absolutely insane advivce (has he really said that) considering the chances of an individual stocks. Absolutely nuts, negative expectation, nearly 99% chance your money go to zero.

Buffet also advices to buy dow or sp500, which makes more sense at least. I would not trust a single word good yald warren says anyhow...

There have been maubbe 100m portfolios holding stocks 'forever', and the amont who got buffet rich is under 50 with that strategy.

Either learn programming, or related future tech, or struggle. This will be amplified in 5-10 years wheres without acquiring new skills required by exponentially developing techonoliges. Things are changing, really fast
