is XMR really untraceable?
if so I really don't understand the point of BTC
why not just buy gold for wealth storage and XMR for daily transactions?

there's no way I'm storing large amounts of wealth on a public ledger, if the government knows you own something they will come after you sooner or later
that's why I like to store wealth in gold, there are literally zero records on the gold that I own and it's very easy to hide millions of dollars in a tiny stash

bought .5 BTC back in 2015 and I still hold .36 BTC, should I convert it into XMR?
