It depends on which clearing house your options are held at and the DTCC. Some like the Options Clearing Corporation which takes custody of about 30% of options do not honor the split and just reduce the premium by the split amount so your options would instantly go down in value to 1/15 but you would still only have one option. Basically, your money is fucked. There's only a 30% chance of that though. You could call your broker and request your option not be cleared by the OCC.
