As far as I understand the objective of the stock market is to buy stock when it is cheap as possible and then sell it when it is high as possible But in order to sell stock, someone else must purchase it. Does this mean the stock market relies on dinguses who buy stock when it is at it's most expensive? Or is there something I'm missing.
