baby steps, dont beat yourself up for failing. adopt the mindset that what you view as degenerate is going to slowly be eliminated over the next few years of your life. build better habits - first diet (plants), then exercise, and meditation.

when you decide to improve there are quite a few things that are extremely easy to quit, like i quit watching porn and never had the urge to watch it again. quitting masturbating was pretty ez too. my weed addiction has been extremely tough to kick however, but hey, baby steps. if youre really having a tough time finding any initial motivation, try to take a medium/ high dose of your choice of psychedelic (for your scenario i recommend mushrooms or LSD, possibly DMT)

what are the biggest hurdles facing the blockchain/ smartcontract space currently?

for example, if I wanted to start a business and program smartcontracts for clients, what obstacles stand in my way?

I'm assuming you're aware of chainlink - is it really just a matter of a more developed oracle network? I feel like once proper data sensors are beginning to be implemented the smartcontract revolution will take off, or are there other factors i'm missing?
