>What are your thoughts on people who are obsessively cheap?
I think they're based imo, unless of course they are fucking other people over. I personally am not super cheap, though I do gorge myself on free food at any opportunity, and use plastic grocery bags instead of trash bags.
A penny saved is a penny earned, which can be invested!

I'm not an expert but I'd imagine that TQQQ has less time left than SOXL.
Everyone and their mom knows about TQQQ at this point. Semis, while hardly a secret, are still less overvalued imo.

SOXL does this all the time. It's just that time of the month. If you can't handle SOXL at its worst then you don't deserve it at its best.

CEO of SOXL here...
Smart money is on a portfolio of 50% SOXS and 50% SOXL

Here's my strategy:
>see a stock
>ask friends and coworkers if it's good
>if they say yes, buy
>if they say no, ask myself if it's a buy anyways, and either buy or no
>the smarter the friend, the more weight their opinion gets
>if it's shilled too hard, that's a strike against it
>if the Smart Money is buying it, that's two strikes in its favor
>when in doubt, just buy SOXL or other ETFs like ARK ETFs, and sell them off to buy speculative stocks after making profits on the ETF
>the ideal stock is somewhat speculative and hype like TSLA, but not a complete sham like aquabounty
>take profits when you can or hold through the dip, but DO NOT SELL THE DIP!!! unless you have a guaranteed return on your next buy!
>Don't FOMO, I wouldn't buy anything in that image at these prices, except maybe TSM
>the most important thing is to have good luck
Good luck!

Buy TAIL, SWAN, and/or MOM if you're worried about a crash.
90% SOXL 10% TAIL is a good portfolio for conservative investors...

We are in an insane bull market propped up by unprecedented money printing. There are opportunities all over the place, and you could do worse than YOLOing into SOXL or just holding ARK ETFs.
And once you've done that, what else is there to do but cheer and celebrate as you effortlessly make money from the largest wealth transfer in history?

First of all, Alibaba is not a stock. Just keep that in mind. Second of all, I am not an expert but what I'm going to do after selling off my leveraged positions during this dip is I'm gonna buy BILI, which is basically a Chinese Netflix that hasn't even hit market cap and has been a good hold until this recent market drop.

That's stupid. Evil people still need money, and there's not really anywhere else to put it except stocks right now (or crypto or gold, but they are linked to stocks to some degree). The vast majority of people in govt have considerable positions in the market. It's easier to keep the market propped up than it is to spin a full-blown crash as a good thing, which it definitely isn't.

I'm too lazy and distractable to become truly addicted. I'll sell off a bunch of green assets and buy some solid ETFs and a few speculative stocks, rinse and repeat.
You gotta find a happy medium, because it is possible to 'overmanage' your portfolio. Just make your picks and stick with your thesis. Daytrading is too volatile for noobs.

"Concentration builds wealth, diversification maintains it."
~Some guy, probably.
But it do be like that. I like to sell off diversified assets for gains when I feel like putting more eggs in fewer baskets. It is a legitimate strategy.
