I wonder whether all the dollar nations are going to see an economic collapse. I also wonder what becomes of other currencies, mainly the euro. We have a lot of gold here I guess but on the other hand we just took an insane amount of stimulus that's going to be distributed as debt to all the member countries

I took a pay cut (72k --> 65k) and a more junior position at the beginning of the year from a temporary state agency for a more permanent position in the hopes of fast promotion, but thanks to city budget shortages owing to kung flu that doesn't seem likely, and there's even a possibility I might get furloughed/fired. I feel like I severely miscalculated.

Otherwise life is pretty alright, after living most of my life in the suburbs living in the city is exciting, and my hobbies are cheap enough that I can enjoy them while still saving a bit.
