Is being a history teacher in the US suicide tier? Is it really that saturated? What can I do to improve my portfolio to land a job if I major in history or polysci?

>18
>have 1k saved up (only worked 2 jobs in my life, used to be a stoner but got my shit together and have been sober my last 2 years)
>have a huge passion for political science and history, with no strong political opinions one way or another. I just love dissecting everything. I just learn useless shit in my free time
>worried about college and due to parents financial situation, have to attend community college for 2 yrs first

I don't know what to do. I want to pursue my passion, but I'm also anxious. I'm decently tech-savvy but pretty awful at math. The most I can do is some freelance web developer stuff on the side, but pajeet is kicking my ass right now in that market.

Any suggestions?

Is selling covered calls viable? Can it really produce a monthly income? What is the lowest risk strategy?

Should I sell 2 deviations above for the strike and just collect dividends as well since its a pretty low chance of the call being exercised? Should I just fucking dump my money into the S&P?

Any experience/tips would be appreciated.
